Part of the group, Robert Plumb Fix is a premium building company, specializing in delivering comprehensive renovation and addition services. We manage the entire building process in close collaboration with architects and interior designers, with the goal of ensuring a seamless client experience.

Supporting our established on-site teams of skilled tradespeople, our Project Management team sets us apart, with diverse backgrounds, including architecture, construction, and contract administration. Our Project Managers are critical in the successful delivery of each project by ensuring that the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards. They coordinate all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, procurement, stakeholder management, administration, and communicate effectively to keep the project running smoothly.

This newly created role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to not only manage high-profile projects, assist with tendering, but also oversee and mentor the project management team with successful project delivery, key aspects of bililng, invoicing, and technology platforms. This role will provide process consistency with the broader group initiatives, programs and processes.

About the role _

Project Management:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of each project, from tender and planning to completion.
  • Ensuring contract terms are fully executed, monitoring project progress against the contract program.
  • Identifying critical decisions and project milestones, by providing timely direction to key stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the development and ongoing management of the project program.
  • Monitoring and controlling the project budget, including cost reporting, forecasting and invoicing.
  • Managing the procurement of trades and suppliers throughout the project, utilizing procurement schedules when necessary.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders, including the site team, client, architect, subconsultant, contractors, and the community.
  • Updating and maintaining effective records in the project management system - IPM.
  • Providing assistance to the Site Foreman and on-site teams as required.
  • Facilitating continuous project risk assessment.
  • Providing project reporting as required.

Operations Management:

  • Workload management and project allocation.
  • Financial oversight of billings, invoicing, forecasting etc.
  • Team training and development.
  • Risk and compliance.
  • Business development.

About you _

  • You will be experienced in residential construction, with project management and/or an architectural background.
  • Construction Management Qualification / Bachelor or Masters of Architecture
  • Experience using project management software and Excel
  • Driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • White card
